Financial Support
The YSTC, designed for 25 selected young scientists. A limited number of participants will receive full financial support from ESC2026 Organizing Committee.
Full support includes;
Participation in all course sessions and access to lecture materials,
Accommodation at Student Dormitories, Boğaziçi University,
Coffee breaks,
Lunch during the course days,
Free registration for the ESC
All other selected participants will be responsible for covering their own travel, accommodation and ESC participation expenses.
Please note that travel expenses are to be covered by the participants.

Boğaziçi University, Kandilli Campus
Student Dormitories
Details: Course participants will stay in university's dormitories within the Campus of Boğaziçi University. The accommodation facilities provide a comfortable and practical environment suitable for short-term academic programs. All dormitories are located on campus, ensuring easy access to workshop sessions and campus amenities.
How to Reach the YSTC2026?
From Istanbul Airport (IST)
1. Take the Havaist Airport Shuttle from İstanbul Airport to Üsküdar.
2. From Üsküdar, take an IETT bus towards Kandilli / Rasathane (lines 14R, 15R, or 15F).
3. Get off at the Kandilli / Rasathane stop.
4. Walk approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the YSTC venue.
Approximate Travel Time: 90-120 minutes (depending on the traffic)
From Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW)
1. Take the Havabus or Havaist Shuttle to Kadıköy.
2. From Kadıköy, take a ferry or Marmaray train to Üsküdar.
3. From Üsküdar, take a bus (14R, 15R, or 15F) towards Kandilli / Rasathane.
4. Walk approximately 5-10 minutes to reach the YSTC venue.
Approximate Travel Time: 60-90 minutes (depending on the traffic)
By Public Transportation (within İstanbul)
1. Reach Üsküdar by ferry, Marmaray, metro or bus.
2. From Üsküdar Square, take buses heading to Kandilli / Rasathane (14R, 15R, or 15F).
3. Get off at the Kandilli / Rasathane stop and walk uphill towards the campus.
How to Reach the ESC2026?
1. Üsküdar Metro / Marmaray Station
From the Kuleli area, participants may take IETT public buses to Üsküdar Center (e.g. lines 15, 15F, 15H, 15KÇ).
2. Take the Marmaray Line
From Üsküdar, take the Marmaray commuter train to Yenikapı Station.
3. Transfer to the Metro Line
At Yenikapı, transfer to Metro Line M2 (Yenikapı - Hacıosman).
4. Get off at Osmanbey Station
Disembark at Osmanbey Station on the M2 line. From there, the venue can be reached with approximately 10-12 minute walk.
İstanbulKart
İstanbulkart is a public transportation card that can be used on buses, metro, tram, Marmaray, metrobus, and ferries in İstanbul. The can be purchased and topped up at vending machines located in metro stations and major transfer points.
