Terms and Conditions

Please read the information below carefully before you are able to access the online abstract submission system.

Submission Procedure & Guidelines

  • To submit an abstract, authors must first log into the online system by creating a personal username and password.

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English through the official online submission platform. Submissions in other languages or sent by e-mail, fax, or postal mail will not be considered.

  • During the submission process, authors will be asked to select their preferred Session (click here to view the full list) and preferred presentation type (oral or poster).

The Scientific Committee reserves the right to modify the presentation type and/or assign the abstract to a different session to ensure the scientific integrity and balance of the programme.

  • Abstracts must be submitted by the official deadline for ESC2026 (15 March 2026).

  • An individual may serve as the presenting author on a maximum of two (2) abstracts.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts on which an individual may appear as a co-author.

  • The presenting author must be clearly marked by selecting the appropriate checkbox in the submission system.

  • All submitted abstracts will undergo review by the Conveners of the respective sessions.

  • The corresponding author will be notified of the review results once the evaluation process is complete. The corresponding author is responsible for informing all co-authors of the abstract’s status.

  • Registration of the presenting author by the Early-Bird Registration Deadline is mandatory for the abstract to be included in the Scientific Programme and published in the ESC2026 electronic materials.

  • Only abstracts whose presenting authors have fully completed registration and payment by the Early-Bird deadline will be scheduled for presentation.

  • Abstracts must not exceed 300 words, excluding the title, authors, affiliations, and keywords.

  • Requests to withdraw an abstract must be submitted in writing to the Organizing Secretariat before the official withdrawal deadline (date to be announced):
